When I worked at FHM Magazine, I wore a lot of hats. For the photo shoot for our “Best Jobs” feature, this was especially true: I was the editor, producer, stylist, and the photographer.
I did a lot of editorial photography my time at FHM Magazine, but I didn’t get to shoot too many features. The reason for this is simple: There were always so many parts to manage that we really needed a large team of people to get it done. I don’t remember why it worked out that on this particular feature photo session I’d basically be doing the whole thing, from rounding up the models to choosing the clothing to taking the pictures, but somehow, it did.
If there’s one thing I love, it’s a challenge. While there were a lot of moving parts with three models and to shoot in four locations, it all worked out and this was one of the magazine’s most popular features. The title, if you don’t speak Lithuanian, is “We’ll Take That Job.” How fitting!
